Our farm has over 60 hens with 30 more arriving in July. We love the variety of colors our hens lay. From mint green, to beryl blue, and brown you'll see several eye pleasing colors in your egg carton. They have a large coop Douglas built from the ground up and are protected by an electric fence. They receive lots of kitchen scraps, non-gmo soy free feed, and all the bugs they can find.
We've experimented some with meat birds and are still on a path of discovering which breed we like that is not only tasty but extremely healthy. We are also constantly improving how we raise our birds.
We pride ourselves in quality pasture raised chicken. All of our birds are given a wonderful life. They start off in our large capacity brooder until their feathers fully come in. Then they are moved out to pasture where they soak up the sunshine and are free to eat all the bugs and grass they want.
We are currently building new chicken tractors that will house them at night. They'll have electric fencing to protect them during the day while they're out scratching in the fresh grass. Our chickens are rotated to new greens every week. They also continue to receive non-gmo, soy-free feed.
We grow the Red Ranger breed (currently) and feel that, despite the extra month of grow out, they are superior to the standard Cornish Cross.
You'll be able to taste the difference!! You can find more info on purchasing our chickens on our "Products" page.
We currently have Lamancha goats. We utilize them mostly for land clearing and are discussing the possibility of renting them out locally in the near future. If this is something you'd be interested in please contact us.
Our bucks are Maverick and Goose - Maverick being the main buck and Goose (his wingman) being our wether.
We have one doe born April of 2023 that we are selling. If interested please send us an email.

The LaMancha dairy goat is born with its unique small ears. In fact, that is the distinguishing feature of this breed. The breed has excellent dairy temperament and is an all-around sturdy animal that can withstand a great deal of hardship and still produce. The LaMancha is a dependable dairy goat, producing quality milk with high butterfat and protein over a long period of time. One of the advantages to the LaMancha breed is they can be milked for two years without being freshened.
Meet Rosie, our family milk cow. She is a Jersey/Angus and due to calve in late November. We currently buy our raw cow's milk and are thrilled to be able to have our very own soon. Once she's in milk she'll be the top producer of our dairy animals.
Bringing Rosie home really made it feel like a farm. You can see our YouTube video on getting her by clicking below. Don't forget to subscribe while you're over there!
